With the inspiring Driftless Area as your backdrop, join us at Durward's Glen nestled in the Baraboo Range to sample the arts of painting, clay, photography, and gourds gaining hands on experience along side our professional artists. Enjoy evening entertainment as a group including a boat tour of the Dells of the Wisconsin River, or take advantage of free studio time. The sessions are great for artists of all skill levels and are a wonderful way to refresh your love for creating art while interacting with fellow artists from near and far.

Baraboo Wisconsin, nestled in beautiful marshes, bluffs, hills and rivers, is ranked one of the best small towns in America.  Extend your stay by reserving an additional night in advance and enjoy ArtJune, an art fair, on Saturday June 16 which takes place on the square in Baraboo.

  • Discover the variety of 15 crane species from around the world while visiting the International Crane Foundation before taking brush to paper to create your own memories.
  • Enjoy plein aire painting at Durward’s Glen by immersing yourself in the beautiful Baraboo Hills.
  • Be inspired by the natural surroundings as you create one of a kind clay relief tiles.
  • Immerse yourself in the rich Native American culture by creating a traditional decorated gourd and learning about the local Native American history.
  • As an added highlight, you will enjoy a leisurely and educational upper dells boat ride along the Wisconsin River, which is a geological wonder.
