A Wisconsin Artistic Sampler:

The Melding of Nature and Art in the Baraboo Bluffs and Surrounding Area

 

Debra Grall is a contemporary figurative artist who works in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, gouache, charcoal, and mixed media. She earned her MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and studied traditional painting at the Ateliers Neo Medici and Pelizzari. She is an Emeritus Professor from the Northern Illinois University School of Art in DeKalb, IL and has relocated to Wisconsin.

Her work has been exhibited internationally and is in numerous collections, including the Women’s Museum of Art in Washington D.C. Additional honors include being juried as one of the top Illinois women artists for Illinois Women Artists: The New Millennium, and Illinois Women Artists: Encore! Since retiring, Debra is co-owner of the Yellow Feather Gallery in Baraboo, and has expanded her artistic endeavors to include beadworking, gourds and pine needle baskets.
